Venezuelan army on the eve undermined two pedestrian bridge, located on the border with Colombia. With such a statement made by the government on Thursday in Bogota, promising to notify the incident to the UN and the Organization of American States (OAS – Organizacion de los estados americanos), the newspaper El Mundo.

“uniformed men probably because of the Venezuelan Army, arrived from the borders of Venezuela to the two pedestrian bridges on either side of which there are human settlements, and pelted them with dynamite, “- said Minister of Defense of Colombia, Gabriel Silva (Gabriel Silva).

Silva noted that these actions are in violation of international laws and endanger the lives of people living near the blown-up bridges. The minister said that these actions are a Caracas military aggression against the peaceful population.

Recall that the relations between the two countries cooled off in August this year when Colombia and the United States announced their intention to conclude an agreement on cooperation in defense and security, for which States received the right to use the seven military bases in Colombian territory to combat international terrorism and drug trafficking. This agreement has caused a flurry of criticism from Caracas.
