United States, opening tenders: Markets opened at yesterday’s levels

last trade of the year opened at the leading U.S. exchanges at zero. At 17:35 Moscow time the Dow was trading with an increase of 0,03%, S & P 500 added 0.07%, compared to yesterday’s closing level, Nasdaq has grown up on 0,04%.

An hour before the start of the session were published weekly data on the number of initial applications for unemployment benefits, which were much better than analysts’ forecasts. The number of such calls has decreased by 22 thousand, while the market is expected to increase by 3 thousand, that is, before 457 thousand against 454 thousand a week earlier.

However, most of the securities comprising the index Dow opened the session with mixed dynamics. The biggest losses in the first minutes of trading stocks suffered chemical group Du Pont, fallen in price on 0,63%. Instead, the best results were observed in the papers of American express and Bank of America, went up by 0,53% and 0,46% respectively.
