UK authorities may prohibit the brand symbols on cigarettes

However, the Government of the kingdom may expand the list of public places where smoking is prohibited, as well as to introduce the individual programs that contribute to the abandonment of the habit.
In addition that officials did not rule out that can improve the existing excise tax on tobacco products, introduce new requirements for their packaging, prohibit cigarette sales through vending machines and advertising related products in retail outlets.
Meanwhile, according to the Manufacturers’ Association the tobacco products, banning advertising of cigarettes would increase in counterfeit products on the market. As an alternative to “draconian” measures authority entrepreneurs offered more control over the sale of cigarettes to minors.
