AIG has developed a new scheme for payment of bonuses

American International Group Inc has developed a new system for determining the level of premiums and bonuses to their employees, writes Wall Street Journal, citing a source familiar with the matter. AIG is trying every effort to motivate managers remain in the crisis-affected companies. New awards for the new scheme must be paid in the next few weeks. Some of the 100 highest paid employees of the insurance giant, which fall under the supervision of “the king of payments” under U.S. administration, Kenneth Feinberg (Kenneth Feinberg), are among the “pilot group”, who took part in testing the so-called forced ranking system.

Under this scheme, the company will assign a staff performance ratings from 1 to 5 in order to subsequently understand who really deserved better pay and incentive bonuses. According to sources, is currently in “pilot group” of about 10% of employees receive the highest rating, about 20% will be assessed on the “good” and 50% for “satisfactory”.
