International Reserves of Russia for the week increased by $2.8 billion
March 12, 2010 – 2:49 pmInternational Reserves of Russia for the period from February 26 to March 5, 2010 increased to $434.1 billion to $436.9 billion, said today the department external and public relations of Bank of Russia.
Thus, the international reserves of the Bank of Russia for the week increased by $2.8 billion (+0,6 %).
Russia’s international reserves are highly liquid financial assets held by the Bank of Russia and the Government of Russia at the balance sheet date. International reserves consist of assets in foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights (SDR), reserve position in IMF and other reserve assets.
