The number of corporate bankruptcies in Japan in December rose by 24%

Number of corporate bankruptcies in Japan in December 2008 increased by 24% in annual terms – up to 1362 cases reported research company Tokyo Shoko Research. In monthly terms, the number of corporate bankruptcies rose by 6,7%.

For the year 2008 the total number of corporate bankruptcies increased by 11.0% to 15,646 cases.
